Payments are deducted automatically from your Checking account, so you can see up-to-date balances and the merchant name, location, date, and amount for every purchase.
Debit or Credit? What’s the difference?
Debit – If you choose this option, the transaction is processed through the ATM network and you’ll be required to enter your personal identification number (PIN).
Credit – When you use this option, the transaction is processed through the Visa network. Although there’s not much difference, this option actually costs your Credit Union less money in processing.
So, the next time you’re asked, help your Credit Union and choose CREDIT!!

Your account information isn’t stored on your phone or even given to the merchant. Instead, these apps use encryption to generate a virtual account number or “token”, eliminating the need for merchants to store your personal data on their networks – providing you with an extra layer of security.
What does tokenization mean?
Tokenization is the process of replacing your debit or credit card number during a payment transaction with a randomly generated 16-digit number, called a token. Because the token is simply a random number and not your real account number, someone trying to steal your information won't be able to hack your account.
